Geothermal heating: ground-to-water heat pumps
A ground-source heat pump takes heat from the ground through a horizontal collector or boreholes. It runs the most steadily and has the lowest running costs, but needs a higher initial investment and an assessment of your plot.

Your benefits
Ground temperature stays stable all winter.
No noise, no equipment on the façade.
The unit is protected indoors.
Almost free cooling in summer.
What's included
- Plot and ground-collector assessment
- Preliminary output and collector length
- Unit, hot-water and heating circuit installation
- Commissioning and tuning
Best for
How it works
An antifreeze fluid circulates through the ground loop (horizontal or boreholes) and picks up heat from the earth. The heat pump raises it to the temperature needed for underfloor heating and the hot-water cylinder.

FAQ
Boreholes or horizontal collector?
A horizontal collector needs more free land; boreholes take little space but cost more. We decide by plot and output.
How much do boreholes cost?
It depends on output and ground – we assess it together with your plot.
