Which heat recovery unit does a 120 m² house need?
Most 120 m² houses need a unit that quietly delivers about 150–220 m³/h with spare capacity for boost. The exact airflow depends on bedrooms, wet rooms and occupants, not only on area.
How airflow is calculated
Supply air is calculated for living rooms and people, extract for kitchen, bathroom, WC and wardrobe. The larger of the two is used, and the unit is chosen to deliver it quietly, not at maximum speed.
Ducts matter more than the unit
Undersized ducts mean high air speed and noise. That is why ventilation should be planned before ceilings are installed.
Check in two minutes
The ventilation planner calculates preliminary airflow per room, supply and extract zones, and shows airflow in a 3D house.
